Help!!!

I have a duck nest (she is about 22 days in) well she has a broken foot and is just hopping around when she gets off the nest. I ordered her splints that are supposed to come in today. My question is how do I go about this? The ducks are free range and have a huge pond. Should I put her and her nest in a cage and quarantine until healed or just bandage her and continue letting her free range?!

Aww poor girl. I would def pen her up so she is safe and has time to heal. Giving her her own space will help her to not overuse and heal and also keep her and her ducklings safe when hatched. If you give her a water source for bathing be sure to take it away once ducklings hatch or they could drown.
