Give us info. When did she lay last? can she walk okay? What do you feed and how old is she? Sure there are no wounds or injuries?
She’s actually been to the vet for bumble foot two weeks ago. I’d realized she’d not been eating so well. She walked great for the first time in a long time yesterday evening, but today she can barely keep her balance. I’ve been feeding her regular duck food, but for this week we’ve been trying frozen peas and meal worms. Today I made her a mixture with oatmeal, baby duck crumbles, regular duck pellets and mixed it all in water and made it extra mushy so no matter what she got some of the nutrients just by drinking the water. And I can’t tell you the last time I’m sure she laid an egg. I’m pretty sure she hadn’t in 3 weeks. I’m scared we came into an old duck, and now I’m losing my sweet girl.

This is how she used to look. Also same day she went to the vet for bumble foot.

She may be going broody.
She’s not broody. We already have one broody duck that’s hatched a baby duck. This poor girl has lost weight, and looks like she can’t even bite hard enough to eat. I know it’s lack of nutrition now, but she literally walked almost 10 feet yesterday and didn’t fall down and did amazing for a duck recovering from bumble foot. It was the most steps she had taken in weeks. And literally 12 hours later she looked like this. She’s not moving much, still looks like it’s hard to eat. I’ve ugly cried so many times thinking I’m gonna have to take her to the vet to be put to sleep. I love my Harley girl but she’s too good of a duck for me ti watch her be miserable. She doesn’t whine or act like she’s in agony, but she’s a duck and she can’t even stretch her wings anymore without falling.
