We don’t have a choice but to rehome. We bought chickens specifically as pullets (because we live close to other people) but so far we’ve had 3/10 incorrectly sexed. It’s becoming quite the ordeal and it’s sad because they’re our pets. Would anyone like to weigh in on our others?

Sure! Mistake roosters are sad, especially if you can’t keep them. I always recommend sexlinked or autosexing breeds for people who cannot keep roosters

I understand. We are first time chicken owners, and weren’t aware it was THIS complicated. Now we know.

The one on the right is a cockerel. The left one appears to be a pullet!
