Pictures? Anything else? Baby chicks need a lot of rest so I’m not sure. Is it too cold? Does it have something wrong with its feet or legs? I really don’t know but pictures may help.

If it only hatched this morning, I consider this behaviour as normal, the chick is recovering from the strenuous task of hatching.

I am sorry you lost it. Sometimes there is just nothing one can do to prevent this as they don't always make it after hatching.

Sorry about your chick. There is probably nothing you could've done to prevent it, it happens to us all once in a while.

In the future, adding pictures and as much information as possible to a thread when you need help will greatly improve the helpful information you get.
