I got this little " HEN" and it confuses me, I was told she was female, and she is not crowing or anything, buuuut, she looks like a he, and I mean it does have the color, it would be about 14 weeks, it is super sweet, and the comb is pale sometimes and red others, I know nothing of easter eggers, on a side note, If he is male I'm located in lousivlle ky and he needs a home. Please message me. Help!

Pretty sure its a cockerel. I don't think I see any male specific feathering though which I would think he would have by now. I do see red patches which would indicate a cockerel.

See that's what I thought was odd too, no black iridescent feathers at all.. man

Zooming in on the tail makes me think male looking at the feathering and how it has almost the downy fine part sticking up through it at the base of the feather (upper left looks like a gray dandelion fuzz). And the size of the legs. And tail coloring (and neck).

In this photo the downy fine dandelion part is in the upper right. Looks like grayish blur. I'll attach pictures of screenshots I took of our EE girls tail area.

These are a few of our EE hens- Cookie (brown and gray), Delphine (All gray/blue) and Yinny (splash). If you zoom in you'll see saddle area that leads to tail ii all blends but same coloration. We had a male EE at one time, he had the green in his tail feathers like yours and in his neck area.

Females (tends to be true for most breeds) are more muted in coloring. I think you have a cockerel (sorry to say).
