Help! I have an egg that piped last night at around eight since the initial pip it hasn't made any progress. It's still peeping and moving but I'm just worried since it has been over twelve hours. Any advice?

Is it a chicken egg? If so they can take up to 24 hours to hatch after external pip. Its a waiting game now whilst they absorb yolk and blood vessels at this point.

If it’s waterfowl it could be 48 hours for hatch after external pip.
