Just posted 3 pic. Hope they have come over. The summer temps here are in the 90s with extreme humidity. These two spend much of the day in the hedge where it's shady? Hoping the straw gets here today, as promised and I put some grit out there. They seem to like it under the largish old fashioned rose bush. My husband is going to look into building a coop. Sure hope it works out. If any of you are on facebook, maybe we can be friends?

While we've lived in PA for 40 years, I grew up in Columbus Nebraska. Family farms and ranches had chickens and I wish I had paid more attention...
