3 week old. Don’t know what is happening.

It looks like the beginning of prolapse vent but I think she's too young for that. My next thought would some kind of infection. I am no expert but fresh chopped garlic in the drinkers has cured so many random things for my flock. I wish I had more help!

Careful, garlic can be toxic to chickens if tok much is used. Not sure I would use it in one so young.

I do have to add I have not ever given it to young chickens.

Is that dried poop on the bottom? I would get the chick cleaned up. I would worry that the chick has mushy chick disease or is very constipated.

Has the chick been up and moving around, eating and drinking? Is that poop all over it’s bottom? Is it constipated? I would get it cleaned off with warm soapy water, and keep it warm.

Agreed, give her butt a clean. Does she walk around? How did u figure out something was wrong?

It was poop. I had just snapped the picture as soon as I seen her like that. I did clean her up and she seems fine today. Her vent is a little swollen but she is running around and eating and drinking.

I seen she was struggling to poop. She was and is still acting normal.

Yeah, so I would just give her a butt bath and that shouls help her with her poop.
