So long story short...we had a broody hens. I took out the old eggs that didn't hatch...expected them to all be rotten.....
Cracked them...well surprise.

All but this one was... is there anything I can do???
Im guessing not but it is still alive.. I have seen it move around. I fully didn't expect them to be alive after I candled them.

Do you have an incubator?

If so, I would put that in the incubator, temp 99.5F, humidity up to 70%. With a sterile finger, you could put a smidge of coconut or olive or vegetable even oil on the membrane to keep it from drying out.

If not, your only other choice I imagine is sticking it back under the hen, but then I doubt it will make it.

I have put wax on it *shrugs* let's see if that works.

Oh dear. How many days of 21 did you figure it was? I thought I saw its beak so figured 20. If it was much younger than that, then maybe wax is okay. Otherwise, I'd fear you might smother it when it tries to zip. If you're able to watch it closely, this might just work!
