Chickens are eating each others feathers off their butts. One chicken had a raw butt with no feathers and now more do and I watch them eat the feathers. What do I do?

If you only have 1 picking feathers, you could try isolating that one for a few days. Otherwise, you may have to take the picked ones out because the others will only continue to pick their bare spots. If the spots are raw and bleeding, put some antibiotic cream(without pain reliever) on them. If the spots are NOT raw, put some Blu Kote or Hot Pick on them.
You might try upping the protein in their diet and making sure they have plenty of space to prevent the feather picking.

Like easttxchick say give them more sunflower seeds and buy pinless pippers from eggcartons. com.First day they will walk funny but it is OK.Pippers for amont and sunflower are only things will stop featherpecking
