Help!

I have 3 hens that I bought about 3 weeks ago. I have waited and waited and still no eggs. I put a fake egg in the nesting box and still not one. They seem really happy and eat and drink. I don't know what to do. Should I do something different? I need some experence.

Give them more time. Moving can be very stressful.

How old are they? Were they laying before you bought them? Maybe they are too old or too young to lay eggs. Did you get them from someone reputable or did you get them from a stranger off craigs list. Unfortunately many people see old hens on craigs list and claim they are much younger than they actually are.

What are you feeding them? Hopefully a good quality layer food.

I hope they start laying for you soon.
