OK so I have 8 eggs in lockdown and the temp is 104 do u think they will be ok

If it hasn't been that high for very long you should be alright, but you need to get it down to 99-101 depending on your bator type and if you have a fan in it or not.

My temp went up to 104 a few times when in lockdown but I always caught it soon enough to turn it down and I have 21 of 26 eggs hatch.

Agreed, you want to get the temp down if you can. If you have an incubator where you can open vent holes, that should be done. Otherwise you can try to adjust the thermostat or as a last resort crack the incubator door/top open a bit for a few seconds to let out some of the heat. If you do open the incubator, add surface area to your water when you do- spray water in or drop part of a wet paper towel in so that the humidity stays up.
