Help!

Hi,
I have always wanted a timed light for our coop, but it is 500 feet from the House!
Extension cords are no-go and no electricity at all down there. Is there a battery powered timer light that anyone knows of/has?

We have 3 solar lights in one of the barns. On at dark, Off at first light. I think batteries would run down too quick.

Solar led is the way to go, if all you need is light. There are lots on the market now, try N. Tool or Harbor Freight.
If you're trying to use a light to heat with, solar will still work, but you'll need a larger 12 volt battery maintance panel, an inverter and a good deep cycle battery.
