please help! my chicken is bleeding badly and she will not let me dress it or clean it! she got pecked by one of my mean chickens and is bleeding unstoppably!

i think u should try to clean the wound or whatever ur gonna do even if the chick dosent want u to!!!!!! does it run away or something when u try to help it?

Colette how is this one doing? I am just seeing this post. I would toss some treats to her gently pick her up . Clean the wound site and dress it with Blue Kote, which is an antiseptic and a well as bite deterror. (COVER her eyes, if you use the spray kind.... thank you all. but my little butterscotch i all better. i found putting fine dust or dirt works as a great bandage after pitting on Neosporin.
