Hi all, I have a few chickens and I need help. A few, mainly the young hens have lost feathers around the belly and back. This happened last year also to my first chickens I got but went after they moulted. This time on my leghorn she's lost feathers underneath and around the neck down to the breast, the same is happening to my barnvelder. I have 6 in the coop, no rooster. I clean and spray the coop fortnightly, I even add mite powder to the dust bath. I've not had any egg loss and the girls are still happy. Just not sure what to do. I'm even going to build a new coop when the British weather gets better.
