Help!

Last night a raccoon got into our duck area and took one of our ducks that was two weeks into sitting on a clutch of eggs. They were in the nest cooling off for 4 hours before I realized what had happend. I have them in an incubator now, but will they still be any good? they are cool to the touch.

well, ducks will get off the eggs sometimes for hours to eat, drink or what have you, and many blogs say that they feel they actually have a better hatch rate if they allow them to "cool" periodically ..I don't usually, but i think you will be ok, maybe only lose a couple. keep us posted..good luck! so sorry about momma duck
