Help!

Hi, this is my first post I recently bought a baby New Hampshire red chick named peep! She's my first chicken and she's just a pet, I don't really plan on breeding her or anything lol. Well she's about a month old and I noticed her right eye is shut closed but it's not always closed, it seems like she wants it closed. When I open it looks like there's a little white worm thing in her eye but I'm not sure. My boyfriend and I have tried taking it out but I don't want to hurt her. I already love her so much and I don't have any money for a vet, I'm sixteen any tips or advice? Thank you x

That does not sound good. I don't think it's a do-it-yourself job. Please post on "emergencies, diseases, injuries, treatment," thread with a title something like HELP, CHICK WITH WORM IN EYE

This web sites is great and you can type in a question in the Search and it will pull up related past threads you can read. Tons of information and hours of reading/learning
