HELP

Need of advice with my drakes please..

I've had an indian runner (Ferdinand) for approx 5 years, the past three he has been on his own and I believe he thinks the Dog is his mate..

Today I finally got him a friend (Winnie) however ferdi is attacking Winnie and still calling out to the dog.

Not too sure what to do, should I let Ferdinand be on his own, or keep trying to introduce Winnie to him, and what is the best way to do that? Winnie is only 1 month old, so have got him/her? In the laundry tonight as I'm too worried to leave them together alone.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

If they are in an outside coop, try dividing it in half with some hardware cloth. Then they will have time to adjust to each other. They can see eachother, but can't get near each other. You should eventually be able to merge them together. Hope this helps.
