My chic has been pecking at the wrong end since yesterday. .it is over due by about 6 days. .what do I do?

As @Yourkshire Coop wrote you need to help out your new addition the wrong end hatches rarely go well on their own but with help you can make a difference and you only need to remove a little bit of the shell to help not the entire shell ......

Try not to panic. Have you candled the egg just to check it's not in the fat end air cell. What is it that makes you think it's at the wrong end? Can you hear anything from the egg? Also what kind of egg is it?
