I'm brand new at hatching any kind of eggs, but my guinea hen keep laying and getting killed. The mom sat on the eggs for 6 days before i found her. i caught her and put her in the coop with the eggs, but after 36 hours, she still was sitting next to them--not on them . So, I got an incubator. Do i subtract the 6 days she sat on them from the 28 days? So they should hatch in 22 days? When they start to hatch, what do I do? They can't stay in the incubator, can they? thx, royce
