HELP!

Ok so My Hen's eye was Dislodged! Its Kind of like Backwards and sticking 1/4 of an inch out! I put Ointment on it and gave her asprin but its swelling ALOT She is in pain but she still stands up eats etc. My parents dont have money for the vet and they think it will heal up But I'm Soo Scared I dont want to lose My Baby! if we leave in the eye what will happen will it scab over or fall out? this is what i dont understand. what do I do? :'( we are putting saline in it too.

Welcome to BYC. The saline in the eye will help to wash it out and keep it moist. I would recommend somr Terramycin eye ointment from a local feed store, or Vetericyn Eye Gel. Plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment (Neosporin, Poysporin) will also work. She may be blind in the eye, but chickens can get along fairly well with one eye. Sorry about your hen.
