Hatching

So I have a goose egg in my incubator, i noticed about 2-3 days ago that it isn't moving inside the egg anymore. It has a pretty good sized air cell inside it. This is my first time hatching an egg, so I'm wondering if I should make a little hole to help it out? There is still about 1/4 of an inch of the egg at the bottom that still looks unabsorbed. Expected hatch date was the 4th-6th so it's not too far away. Thanks for any help!!

Goose egg incubation is usually 28-30 days with the average being 30 days. Some can go 35 days, ive had a couple hatches go that long. Has it internally pipped into the air cell? Making an air hole before the gosling has internally pipped is pretty much useless and fatal. Give it some time and keep an eye on it. As far as not moving, if it hasnt internally pipped yet, they usually rest awhile before beginning the stressful steps of hatching.
