Help!

My rooster started attacking me and I don't know what to do to make him stop! hes aready given me a scar. we live in ohio,, so we cant sell him. can we get him butchered still? or what can we do?

Good afternoon silvermoonlight, in reality if the roo is scarring you and you can't re-home him elsewhere, your only choice may be to cull him. I so hate giving that kind of advice though, but good sized birds can really cause a great deal of harm, if he isn't penned with your other birds just let him free range if you can. He could still be a great asset to your yard or garden, just provide water for him and he will feed himself on everything from bugs to mice.

Hes free range wit our hens. We have 16 sheep and I had the hose and was watering them and he just comes up and starts running at me so I start running the other direction. that happened yester day. he has never attacked before. im, not even sure if we are aloud to butcher them because the government banned selling, trading, and showing. we are talking to some people who will butcher him if we are aloud and if we aren't we will wait till we are and then get a new one.
