I have this one barred rock that always strays from the group and never wants to listen and is just all around stubborn. I am worried its a rooster and so far I can't tell since they're only about 3 months old. He's a picture of it, and any knowledge on the sex is appreciated.

IMO a boy if you are sure of the age.

I have 3 BR and even the one with the largest comb and wattle were no comparison even when mine were 4 mo old.

You should be hearing crowing soon. Maybe someone offer a better opine.

I would say that's a cockerel as well. The light coloring, large, red comb and stance all say rooster.
