My duckling started hatching two days ago, the other hatched just fine but I had to help this one since the only progress it had made in three days was a small whole it could fit its beak into. I helped it hatch fine with no blood or anything like that, but it can't walk, something is oozing out of what appears to be a belly button, and his butt is all swollen up. Someone please tell me what's wrong with him and how I can help! Here is a picture

It sounds like it could have a broken yolk sac. In this case, I don't think there is anything you can do. Keep it warm and try to prevent infection. It could just be that it hasn't completely absorbed its yolk-sac or that it absorbed it wrong. Baby birds do have round bellies, but your duckling sounds like it is swollen.

I hope it gets better soon.

It could just be still drying off. Don't give up on the little guy!

Thank you! Did you get the previous picture? If so, is that normal or abnormal? Also, is there a big chance that it will die? And what could have caused the yolk sack to break? Sorry for so many questions I'm just scared

I have not personally raised ducklings, but I have raised chicks. I looked up pictures of ducklings that had just hatched and that doesn't look normal.
The duckling could have got an infection through the egg pores, it could have just been weak, or it could have been genetically weak. Perhaps its belly-button didn't close up. Maybe it struggled too much trying to get out. We might never know.
Babies are very delicate. I could be wrong, but if I were to be honest I doubt the duckling will make it. However, it would be wonderful if it did! Keep it warm and make sure it won't make things worse by struggling around. Try giving it a little food and water, since if it didn't absorb its yolk it might not have enough nutrition.

Keep me updated on its progress.

Ok, right now it still can't walk I don't think it's going to make it to the morning:( should I keep it in a separate box from the other ducklings?

I'm really sad, but thanks for all your support! I will keep you updated on what happens with the other 3 eggs and the already hatched duckling
