One of my hens became very broody, so we got fertilized eggs under her. She is now on day 18/19 for the eggs. So hope to see some babies soon! She has been incredibly dedicated throughout. Today, her sister hen (same breed, same age) is now going in there and “steeling” the eggs and sitting on them in the same box as my original broody. Is this a normal way to help? Or should I keep pushing her off? The “steeler” hen is the top of the pecking order.
