Helping a chick hatch?

I posted a thread recently about my BR, and the feedback was clear: she was broody!

So, I put her on 5 eggs and here we are 18 days later and I have 3 chicks hatched!

This is the first time I've hatched chicks at home so I have zero experience. I dont know exactly when they hatched because I've been trying not to bother my lady, but I'm assuming it was this morning. There is one egg that is cracked, there is a chick inside, but its been that way for 6 hours or so. I'm wondering how long the hatching process takes and if I should/or even CAN intervene to help him hatch.

When I was hatching my Orpingtons, the first one to pip was the last one to hatch. Took it about 16 hours to decide to change from an Eggbert to a chick.
