So I have one pipping at the small end, a local chicken keeper said she usually helps those since they are starting on the wrong foot. So, I broke the membrane, which was REALLY tough, I eased a bit back where the thing could breath, wrapped it in a wet towel, put it back, waited a while and decided to pull a little more back around the beak, I was using a toothpick to pull the membrane back and the tip of the toothpick had blood, but I didn't see it anywhere else, membrane, chick, anywhere other than on the toothpick, I'm thinking it's just blood from the inside of the membrane?? Anyway, is any blood too much? Or what? She said she has helped them out completely a bit at a time before. So I want to know how much is okay?
