Helping with the hatch?

I have a chicken egg that is overdue to hatch (brothers and sisters hatched two days ago and yesterday) and I can still hear the chick inside. Should I dare to peep the egg? The egg was rocking and rolling yesterday and today no movement of the egg, but I can hear faint tapping coming from inside. HELP!!!! What should I do?

I would open a small hole in the large end of the egg and see
if the membrane is absorbed. If it is I'd help.

I'm going against the grain, where most give the hands off approach,
but I've had good success with late chicks. If the membrane is papery
it's ready. If it is pink and bleeds if it tears leave it alone. I have found weak
chicks revive rapidly if you help them out but will just die in the shell.
