Hi everyone!! I have a hen she's around 1 year old and hasn't laid any egg but she was making the egg laying sounds. She used to go and sit in the nesting box but never laid any egg. But today I saw that her poop is watery and mustard in colour and she's not eating anything. Also she walks a keeps on sitting. And I've noticed that her abdomen is swollen.
what could be the reason for this?? Can anyone help.

A swollen abdomen, not laying eggs, limited activity, etc. are usually symptoms of reproductive disorders. EYP, cancer, Salpingitis, etc. can be common in laying hens.

Work on getting her hydrated, then offer feed. Check her for lice/mites and that her crop is emptying overnight.
Some birds can get better or be more comfortable with supportive care, others decline, so then it would be time to make a decision on quality of life.

She did drink some water but didn't eat anything. Also her crop is totally empty. Her vent is also stained with mustard coloured poop. What should I do next?
