Hey all, I recently noticed my 7 year old hen’s face seemingly inflating/deflating as she breathes (not sure how else to describe it). She is an indoor/outdoor chicken so I spend a lot of time with her and this is a new development. Besides this, she is healthy. I know a couple threads have been posted on this topic before but were inconclusive so I just wanted to start a new discussion if anyone has any ideas. I appreciate everyone’s help!

In the video, it's hard to tell, does she have any crusty material in her eye?

Check inside her beak for any lesions or canker.

I'd lean toward this possibly being respiratory infection. Do you have any Tylosin on hand?

No crust around the eye and inside the beak looks normal. I agree maybe possible respiratory infection, I don’t have the medicine you mentioned but I can definitely look into it.
Thank you for the response!
