Hi,
I have a polish that lays but insists on sitting on the eggs in the coop. My question is if I were to get her a baby or two fromTS if she would care for them?

thanks a bunch

Doesn't sound like she's fully broody, so I doubt she'd take on chicks. Full broodies sit day and night for at least 21 days straight, although some do get off the nest for about 15 minutes of food/water time. They puff up and kind of growl at you when you try to touch them. They usually pluck many of their breast feathers off to line the nest. When a hen is full broody, and has set her eggs for 21 days, some are able to "sneak" day olds under them so that the hen thinks they hatched under her.

Probably she is not fully broody and would be unlikely to accept them. If you decide to try it, I would have a brooder ready.
