1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
She is a production red, 1 year old. I've had her since a chick. I haven't noticed any weight change.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Starting a couple days ago, she has been very lethargic. She lays down in the run, and we had to carry her back to the coop when they were free-ranging yesterday because she was not with it. She is just all around acting "off". She used to be our best layer, but she hasn't layed an egg in a couple days.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
I would say maybe 3-4 days.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
The other birds are not exhibiting symptoms of any kind.

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
No bleeding, or other signs of trauma that I have found.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Dumor Layer Pellets, Fresh Water (Changed Daily), Grass, And occasional treats (veggie peelings, hard boiled egg etc.)

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
The poop in the coop looks normal, but no saying which poop is hers. I will seperate her and examine her poop.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
I have not treated her for anything yet.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I would prefer treating her myself. Not many chicken vets around here.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
Pine Shavings, 8'x6' Coop (6 Hens).

I am wondering if she needs deworming? Please help before it's too late. She is our best layer.
