Hen ate my earring!

I know this isn't really an emergency but I didn't know where else to post. She just a minute ago snatched my earring right out of my ear

I'm not too worried about what it will do to her. It sounds like it will either pass or the stone will stay in her gizzard as grit. I was wondering if there is any way to get her to throw up? She just ate it so I assume it is still in her crop. Any advice would be great! I would like to get it back if I can.

I would say just separate her from the other chicken and dig around in her poop to see if you find it! This will be less stressful for the hen and probably you too since making a hen throw up is probably not easy!
