Hen emergency

Poor girl. I hope that the calcium helps.

You might see if she'll eat egg mixed with wet feed, just to see if she can get more of her normal food into her.
ill definitely try that. right now shes thankfully laid down for a rest and seems to be sleeping normally. So i just really cant figure it out for her.

In the morning, I would check her over really good and make sure she has no external injuries and no lice or mites. Hopefully her appetite will be good in the morning. Continue with the calcium citrate 5-7 days.

Also, since I don't think you said, they are offered calcium and grit free choice, correct? I would also make sure she has that available in her little crate.

I was thinking maybe it's the fact it's cold and she has bumble foot. Then I was thinking it's respiratory and then I thought egg bound and now I'm not even sure.

While getting ready for a new wrap for the foot she let out this watery yellow-green poop. Nothing solid just liquid. So I stood her up right and while fighting me she went really limp but didn't pass out. I checked her again and her abdomen is hard. But it's not just one area but like everything past the legs to the vent?

ive been fighting this bumblefoot for maybe two months or possibly more? its not progressed and its stayed in its little pocket. i extracted here and there and today it looked the best. but thats when she let out that odd poop and she kind of just stopped being able to breath that well?
When you stood her up, did you press on the crop and she aspirate fluid/crop contents?

Is she breathing well now? To me, it sounds like Aspiration = Doing o.k, being moved/stood up, then suddenly fighting you and then not being able to breath well.

I'd check her crop first thing in the morning to make sure it's emptied. If it has not, then address that symptom. She my have sour crop if she's not been too interested in eating a lot. The article below will walk you through the steps.

Does she have any Mites or Lice? I'd check her over really well.

Photos of the foot? You've been working on Bumblefoot for 2+ months, how have you been treating it?

When pressing the crop I haven't seen her aspirate any fluid but I can check in the morning for sure. No mites from what I could see though now that she is caged I can check her when she is awake. She is breathing normally. Isn't gaping or huffing or anything.

I've treated her foot the same as I treated all the others. Only problem is I treat one foot and then the other gets it and it's kind of a back and fourth. But I soak her feet. Only extract what comes out spray some vetricyn on, After put some antibiotic on and prid and wrap her up while I wait for the last bits of that extraction. Though I may have to stop for a bit if putting her on her back is causing her to breathe heavily. Which is what i noticed earlier when I went to treat her again
