Hen attacked, by what, I don't know

Pics
Yay, LC. Scab is gone, just a little bump now. Need feathers now!
Wow! Wonderful news!

Looking back at the very first photos, she's come a long way!
Such a nice job taking care of her. Thank you for keeping up with the thread and posting her progress as well. I like to know what happens myself and I'm sure the info will help others in the future.

Yes, she does need feathers! They may eventually come (let's hope!).

LC was out for supervised visit today. She was so happy to be among for flock. Rooster immediately mounted her and she was very submissive, so it was a pleasant interaction. She also had her first dust bath since this entire fiasco started on Jan 14th. She almost buried herself in dirt.

Her skin is bare and the saddles we have do not cover any of her injured area. So we will continue supervised visits until we are sure that all the others will not pick on her. She didn't have any trouble putting one inquisitive hen in her place, so that is good. Thank you, @Wyorp Rock for all your help and advise. :)

I think we created a spoiled chicken. LC is out with the flock now all day. However, at night she follows me to the house and wants to sleep in the house with us.

Our coop is a little crowded right now with the littles growing up. We are in the process of expanding our coop. We are more than doubling the size of it. So I think we will continue letting her sleep inside and when the coop is finished in about 7 days, place her in there at night while everyone else is already sleeping. We also have to retrain her to lay in the coop. She is currently going into the isolation coop to lay. Floor done, 1st (and learning wall) almost complete. :)

Nice!

LOL I'm sure she is spoiled!

Good idea about transitioning her when the new coop is finished. This will have them all sort of distracted as well. I've found that if I have trouble with one getting on with a group if I just move things around/rearrange, that takes focus off the bird since the others are too busy complaining about something being changed😂
