I've noticed this before on her but never rely put it in my head. I thought it was normal but I kept noticing it and well the pictures are bad but it's good enough because try getting her to stay still lol. I looked at another thread like this and mostly at night my flock pecks eachother because I guess it's the pecking order. I've never seen them peck her head for her to be bald and shes a boss type of hen so you peck her I'm pretty sure shell peck them back. She does sleep on the lower roost next to my one silkie and protects her from getting pecked so maybe that's the case. Ive seen no bugs (mites or lice) shes healthy overall. Any ideas?

I was going to suggest maybe a partial molt? One of mine is going through that, right in that area. I see new pin feathers on my girl; can't tell in your picture if yours has them or not.

I'll look at mine and see if theres new feathers. She doesnt seem to mind it so as long as shes not hurting I'm not thinking anything serious

Yes I have a rooster but he only and I mean only mates my australorp. He has a favorite. Every morning it's her and throughout the day it's her not anyone else from what I've seen
Well that’s one picky rooster, I have 2 and they mate with everybody, they do a good job at fertilizing my 20 hens also( my roosters are bantams) Lol

Also I’m not sure then all my hens that have been mated have that identical feathers pulled off. hmmmm 🤔
