Hen beat up labrador

So my curious dog finally escaped and went after my chickens. One of the big hens flapped her hard with her wings and jumped on her. Now my lab is scared of the chickens.

Oh wow. My rooster one time tried to attack my Black Lab/Aussie mix because she was hanging around to close to my rooster’s ladies and he’s a protective boy. I luckily was there and kept him from doing so, because he’s a very submissive rooster when it comes to me. I guess he knows who’s boss

Sounds like your dog got some chicken avoidance training! Our dachshund, who I would have concerns about being safe around the chickens was rewarded with a peck on the nose the first time he tried checking them out through the run hardware cloth. He's steered clear of them since.

Cats are what scare me, we have a neighborhood stray that is always creepin low like he is gonna pounce on them. If it touches my poor hens I'm going to get the shotgun

I got geese for that lesson. One and done. Now if I could just get her to leave the cats alone...

Attack geese will mess you up!!! Worse then a dog!!

A lesson well learned, but I still would not leave the dog alone with the chickens.
