hen behavior question

I have a small flock of 11 laying hens and one guinea hen. This morning one of my layers flew up at me while I was walking into the coop and perched on my back. She stayed there for a few seconds and then flew off. Is this normal behavior?

Sometimes hens just do things like that. They get a little burst of energy and jump on heir owners because they love us!

My girls sometimes do that to me I think it is just to show affection.

Several of my girls do this and I make like it is because they really like me, but I suspect it is all about the treats they learn fast what to do to get a treat and if no treats then mine go about there daily activities.
