Good evening,
We just brought home 3 13 week old chickens and we are quarantining as best we can with the space we have. We will eventually integrate them with the single 4 year old hen we have now. I am curious to know if it is normal for the older hen to be acting a little weird. She has been fine all day, but once the new ones were placed in the quarantine coop, she is loud and almost looks like a statue on the other side of the yard. I am sure there will be growing pains so I want to know it this is normal. Thank you.
