Glad that you got the egg out. She still may benefit from a dose of calcium citrate with D, or at least Tums given orally to help with muscle contractions, and prevent her from getting egg bound again.

I would soak her bottom only daily in warm Epsom salts or water with some salt, 2 tsp per quart to make saline, or a little Betadine or Hibiclens. Apply Neosporin after she is thoroughly dried in a towel or hairdryer. This will speed healing.

Where do you get calcium citrate supplement? I've tried looking online at tractor supply, but do not see this option. I have poultry cell. Does this contain calcium citrate? Is there a particular brand you recommend? Thanks !
