this evening i went to check on my broody indian game. when i looked at her it lookedlike she was struggling to breath, when she tried to breath her beak would open really wide and her tongue would almost stick out. she also has a clear discharge coming from her nose. i gave her a bit of baytroil. any idea what is wrong with her?

I do have a website that has a list of ailments with symptoms. http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pwhjQ6Yng877iz_JNiCN1IQ I hope it helps you narrow down what is wrong!

Also I would reccomend feeding her some wet mash just to get her some energy. Glenda L Heywood gave me this recipe:

natural probiotic recipe is is:
3 tbsp of dry crumbles
4 tbsp of milk, sweet, sour, or buttermilk or a mixture of all or some
1 tbsp of yoguart of non flavored yoguart ( no artificial sweetmer)
mix good
AFTER PUTTING VIT'S IN
PUT 1 TBSP OF APPLE SAUCE FOR THE WET MASH PROBIOTIC

NOW THE IMPORTANT INGRIEDIENT FOR EACH CHICKEN FED
and add 1- 400 mg of Vit E for chicks or
( USE 1,00 mg of Vit E for adult chickens)
by cutting the end off the vit E capsule for each chicken fed this wet mash
putting Vit in the wet mash

You can also feed her some mashed up boiled eggs.
