Can you re-look at her droppings?
How long have you had her and how old is she?

In the poop, there is something stringy(?) Could just be urates or something you fed her, but are they worms? More photos of the poop may be helpful.

Hey all. We put our Heckity girl down this evening. We did a necropsy in her and it is Mareks. She had enlarged sciatic nerves and growths on her liver.
I’m so scared I’m going to lose everyone now.
Vet did feel the poop is wormy poop.

I'm sorry for your loss

It was good that you were able to receive more information. Your vet performed the necropsy? Did the vet suggest that you have a fecal float to check for worms in the rest of your flock or make any recommendations about worming?

Marek's is a complicated disease. Not all birds will become symptomatic even though they may be carriers. Many people have flocks with Marek's and have learned over time to manage symptoms when they arise. Keeping stress to a minimum and providing a good balanced poultry feed seems to be helpful.
You may want to do some careful reading/research on Marek's. BYC is a good resource, posts by Nambroth and Rebrascora would be some to read as well.

Sorry for your loss. Did you take any necropsy photos to post here? I am not sure that I could diagnose Mareks in my own necropsy, but glad that you did one.

Thank you. It was tough to make the call today but she was starting to show signs that she was beginning to have some respiratory issue.
The vet did a quick necropsy, we didn’t send anything out. She was pretty confident that we were dealing with Mareks. There is another flock in our area that is having the same struggles.
She did recommend worming everyone. I actually have some wormer in the way and should arrive tomorrow.
I plan to get familiar with the disease.
It just stinks. I had planned to get some new chicks this spring but now I’m doubting that decision.
We shall see what I find with my reading.

Shoot honestly it didn’t even cross my mind. The sciatic nerves was thickening and one side was significantly larger then the other. Interesting because it was the side she tended to spin toward when sitting on the ground. Her liver had 3 small pea size tumors that were round and white.
My girl wasn’t riddled with it. We caught it fairly early.
