I like the deep, rich color. We have a hatchery RIR (not a production RIR), but although she doesn't have the white underfluff, she doesn't have the mahogany color. Just a medium auburn.

I wanted to post a good pic, but then realized that our hard-working RIR is always too busy doing her "chicken stuff" to pose for me. She's in the background next to my Bielefelder.
