Thank you. They are squatting but no eggs yet. But in the morning one tries to crow! It's a half hearted last two notes but quite loud. She's just started the last few mornings so I've shut them in tonight to muffle the sound tomorrow morning. Hopefully the neighbours are heavy sleepers!

Pullet :

I know you said you wanted a silkie entry. So Rexi is on the right ;) White pullet.
Star is the black cochin my daughter hatched and is Rexi's buddy. I don't know if Star is a pullet, or a roo, yet. But, i'm thinking hen.. hopefully. lol

And one more silkie - unsexed, because, well, silkies are very hard to sex early. This is Lucky - we hatched it a few weeks ago. ;) It currently is still living in the house mothering/fathering our other silkies we hatched, which our newest one, was last week.

Red Sex link : Pullet

Our pullets ride our goats. The polish crested taught the other birds to ride the goats. They started it.

The only roo in this picture is Biter, he's got the bright red comb and is between my mom goat, and the baby at the top middle of the picture. The rest are all hens/pullets.

my RIR and White-fluff cochin are the only 2 of real age-laying. My EE flock should start laying anytime now, but hasn't, yet.

The above picture is a mix of 3 polish crested, 3-4 cochins... black/blue/white.. although one of the "blues" looks more like a splash to me then straight blue. A red sex link, and a RIR hen.
