Hen crowing

My previous neighbor had a EE hen that crowed.
She’s not allowed to have roosters.
The hen was about 3 or 4 years old and I stood outside and watched her crow so I know they do it.
It’s not exactly like a roosters crow though.
The hen laid eggs all the time even when she would crow lol.

I have a 1.5 yr old welsummer hen who’s been a bit “gender fluid” since she was tiny.

She occasionally crows, the worst, most off key crow you’ve ever heard, and always leaves off the last note....

Like a very shy rooster with tonsillitis

She always hides behind our outdoor fireplace to do it but I know it’s her.

What! I have never heard of a hen crowing?
