While a terrible comparison, love the word play.trans-hen-der
I blame my GF for that one. We were texting, discussing said chicken. LOLWhile a terrible comparison, love the word play.![]()
As long as she's eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK, I'd not worry. With her changing, do I need to be concerned ? She does not have any spurs, but my rooster is getting spurs.
I never had any roosters in the past so I don't know what to expect.
Thanks
My Leghorn mix hen grew spurs three inches long, looked imposing but she was still our best layer. As long as she's eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK, I'd not worry.
Not much you can do about it anyway.
I've had hens grow spurs, they still lay eggs and don't act like cock/erels...not uncommon.
