HEN DIED EGGS NOT HATCHING

HI there guys my Broody hen on eggs died due to desease on day 18 of eggs and now its day 22 i fixed a bulb for incubation but eggs are not still hatching iam worried about them plz help me

what to do ?

Hi

Glad you could join us here but I'm sorry it's not under better circumstances and that you have lost your hen. How do you have the bulb set up? Is it in a box with the eggs or over a box which contains the eggs? I would first suggest that you candle the eggs and check for signs of life within them.

You can shine a flash light into the eggs from the fat end of them and you should see any development. At this stage of incubation the eggs should be pretty full of chick but if there is life you should see movement or possibly hear cheeping if they have pipped into the air sac.

Have you been able to keep any kind of humidity around the eggs?

NO .. i didnt know about that <humidity>
