My 3 year old hen has been “drooling”. She hasn’t laid any eggs but she sits in the nesting box. Last egg I thought was from her was a fairy egg. She did have diarrhea a couple weeks ago. They have had dewormer.

Can you look inside her beak for any lesions or canker?

When was the last deworming? What did you use?

When was that last egg?

Feel her abdomen for bloat or fluid between the legs below the vent-do you notice any?

I'd make sure her crop is emptying overnight, if it's not, then treat according to the article linked below.

She's sitting in the nesting box - can she stand and walk around? Is she able to get to food/water?

She can walk and stand fine. She has access to food and water. Her crop was empty this morning and is now full. I’ll check her now. If it was her last egg, June 22nd. She was dewormed a couple weeks ago with a chili mix dewormer.

So is she drooling now, or was that a one time thing?

Crop should be Full now at the end of the day. Check is first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink.

Chili Mix Dewormer? Got a photo of that, the package? Chili peppers, DE, ACV, Garlic, Pumpkin, etc. etc. will not deworm a bird. IF she does have worms, then you need to use a dewormer like Fenbendazole (Safeguard) or Albendazole (Valbazen).

Inside of the beak should be clean looking with no lesions, canker, yellow or white pasty material.

She has drooled a few times. I haven’t seen her do it today but I was also gone most of the day. Her mouth looks fine to me but I’ll check it again to be sure. Maybe her not laying has to do with not enough calcium? This is the dewormer.
