Hen dropping underdeveloped eggs now sitting in nesting box, wont move

Is this brooding? I just had a hen die from mysterious causes so I am ultra paranoid now.

How to tell if a hen is broody:

Flattens herself out over eggs or (even golf balls) in the nest
Pulls out her chest and belly feathers in the nest
Growls whenever you come close and may peck hard
Pulls any eggs under her when one is set down nearby
When you pick her up and take her out of the coop, she will thrash and carry on, then when you put her down, she may lay therUsually will Have a light green very large smelly poop when out of the nest
She will then proceed to show her tail feathers in a V, clucking at everyone who get s close
She may go over to get a quick bite, drink, or a dust bath, then back to her nest.
